Description

Pro-Colour Plus Hair Colour formula provides a rich and long lasting colour. It provides up to 100% grey hair coverage, achieving a deep and consistent colour throughout the whole length of the hair. When choosing your shade you should bear in mind that the colour result depends on the natural or current colour of your hair and that the colour may last longer depending on the condition of your hair. Pro-Colour Plus Hair Colour is specially formulated with Transcutol ®, a patent of Gattefosse, France. It helps the colourant penetrate the hair deeper and enhances the colour stability by 30%. Covers grey hair and guarantees long lasting, intense colour. The mild formula gives even colour distribution over the hair and the colour lock conditioner and is enriched with jojoba oil, aloe vera and red grape extract to help nourish the hair after colouring.

How To Use

Please read the full instructions leaflet before use.

Hair colourants can cause severe allergic reactions. Even if you have used this product previously it is advisable to perform a skin allery test 48 hours before colouring your hair.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. PREPARATION OF THE HAIR
The best condition for the hair is damp (towel dried). If hair is too wet the colour may run off and not absorb well. Damp hair is more porous than dry hair so you should get a better absorption of colour. For best results apply the colour to hair that has been wetted without washing and then towel dried to leave damp hair. If however your hair needs washing or if you have something else on your hair that could prevent absorption (Such as styling gel, mousse, conditioner, hairspray etc.) you should wash your hair with
shampoo, don’t use conditioner and towel dry to leave damp hair. You can also apply to dry hair and this will give good results in most cases unless your hair is colour resistant. Comb the hair well before application. You may wish to apply a little petroleum jelly or lip balm around your hair line to help prevent any possible staining of the skin.

2. PREPARATION OF THE COLOURANT
• Put on the gloves and protect clothing with a towel, unscrew the caps of the colour cream tube and the applicator bottle with developer (mixing ratio 1:1), squeeze out the entire contents of the tube into the applicator bottle.
• Screw the cap back onto the applicator bottle, tighten it until it is firm and shake it thoroughly to achieve an even mixture.
IMPORTANT now that the components are mixed, pay attention to the following points:
• Immediately after mixing unscrew the nozzle tip from the long nozzle. When removing the tip, do not squeeze the bottle and do not point it towards your face.
• The mixture must be used straight away and once only. Start with the application immediately after mixing (2-3 minutes maximum)
• Once mixed the mixture expands and removing the nozzle tip stops any pressure building up in the bottle, if you do not remove the tip straight away, the mixture may spill when you do remove it or the bottle may burst.
• Ensure that the bottle is kept in an upright position while not being used to apply the mixture.
• Do not reseal or store the mixture in a closed bottle – the mixture may expand and burst the bottle.
• Discard any unused mixture promptly.

3. APPLYING THE COLOUR
FIRST APPLICATION
• Apply the mixture starting from the roots, by parting the hair into sections with the help of the application nozzle, then distribute along the whole hair length.
• You can use the whole of the mixture even if you have short hair.
• Using all of the colour, massage the mixture into the hair thoroughly to ensure even distribution throughout all of the hair.
• Leave the mixture for a development time of 30 minutes.
• After the development time, apply a little water to the hair and massage gently.
• Rinse the hair thoroughly until the water runs clear, do not shampoo.
• Apply the conditioner, massage into the hair and wait for 5-10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse the hair with lukewarm water.
SUBSEQUENT APPLICATIONS
• Apply 1/3 of the mixture to the roots, by parting the hair into sections with the help of the applicator nozzle. Allow the colour to develop for 20 minutes.
• Then distribute the remaining quantity of the mixture along the whole of the hair and massage gently.
• Leave the mixture to develop for a further 10 minutes.
• You can use the whole of the mixture even if you have short hair.
